- I have been in the technology industry for over 35 years and have seen and expect to see great changes in the usage of the unwired medium for communications. In the past 5 years in my position as the Director of Technology for a midsized local goverment we were able to implement a cost effective, reliable and secure wireless infrastrucuture that had a ROI of 25 months and a ongoing savings of approximately $135,000 per year. I have recently taken early retirement and will continue to keep abreast of the developments in this area.
