Mobile Platform UI Designer Position (San Jose, CA)

If you are an experienced UI/UX designer with a mobile background, this opportunity may be for you. Our client needs someone well-versed designing for all mobile platforms to aid in the further development of their current mobile application.

This is a contract position that's expected to last at least nine months. Interview times have been pre-scheduled and we're looking to have the right person start ASAP.

Specific Experience:
• Creating user interactions for mobile devices
• Knows mobile device platforms (RIM, iPhone, Android, Symbian, Windows mobile, WAP, J2ME)
• Mapping user interactions
• Mac and PC

Software Tools
• Illustrator
• Photoshop
• Indesign

General Skillset
• Working closely with a cross-functional team to assess product requirements, the
designer will create UI models, user task and interaction flows, screen designs, user interface and interaction details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience
• The designer will organize these design details into a complete user interface design specification that will be used as a blueprint for development
• Should have practical experience employing user centered design methods
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross functional teams a must
• Self motivated, must be able to meet tight deadlines
