This compnay is an authoroized representative for all the major wireless carriers in Noth America. They are unique in cell site real estate lease optimization and asset management. As Director of Sales and Business Development, you will sell cell site leasing services to Regional GMs of Tier 1 and Tier 2 wireless network operators as well as the Site Leasing Operations groups both at regional and at the carriers’ headquarters. Act as liaison between carriers and cell site landlords in the administration of lease programs that allow carriers to maximize operating efficiency and enable landlords to secure their cell site income.
Build a team of sales managers with the Direcctor creating new leads and establishing high level relationships within the wireless carriers. Secure new client contracts for the provision of third party services to such clients. Such services would center on the negotiation, financing, management and administration of wireless site leases. Prospect for and identify new business opportunities with wireless carriers by identifying and developing relationships with key contacts in these carriers. Manage wireless carrier accounts from inception to closing. Responsible for maintaining and managing the client's expectations and able to recommend business solutions/alternatives for projects. Accurately forecast, maintain and report acquisition pipeline and drive deal closure.
Nice compensation package with base salary in the $120k to $130k base with total target in 1st year at $200k; at plan is $300k in 3 years. Compnay provides relocation and nice benefits.
Requires a Bachelor degree with at least 7+ years in the wireless industry as a Director or VP of Sales with a proven track record in cell site asset management and site acquisition landlord/cell site leasing and co-location processes. You MUST have solid current rolodex of contacts with the major wireless carriers (Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Alltel - as well as Tier 2 carriers in particular the regional GMs and Site Acquisition Groups on a National - NOT just a single region or geaography basis. Must be a sales "hunter" who has expertise in both solutions-based sales as well as transactional-based sales. Proven track record in building your own pipeline that justifys the neeed o hire regional sales managers under you. This position willl be promoted to VP level in 1 year.
